Studios & Post Production
Durban is equipped with a number of studio spaces most of which are able to accommodate small to medium production. Movie mogul Anant Singh of Videovision Entertainment is currently in the pre-planning phase for the Durban Film City Complex, which is set to provide space for major motion picture production.
Durban is also home to a number of video and sound post production facilities, which are featured in the DIRECTORY. At present, there are no film labs in Durban but 35mm completion is handled in Johannesburg which is a one hour flight from Durban.
